African spiritual traditions offer powerful tools of transformation by providing methods to tap into our innate power and gain insight into our purpose.
The ancestors say, "If a child falls, he looks forward. If an elder falls, she looks back. Let us look back so we can go forward."
The wisdom of our ancestors is essential to knowing who we truly are.
Using practice and ritual from the Orisa-Ifa tradition, which comes from the Yoruba culture in Nigeria, we will explore our ancestral connections and the healing forces of nature. We are more powerful than we are socialized to believe. If we can release the hurts and false perceptions that dishonor us as well as our ancestral lineage, we can live life with more purpose, clarity, and authenticity.
